LISA ORINN, DIRECTOR
Lisa Orinn is the founder of Music Play Studios and Director of Music Together® of Charleston, Mt. Pleasant & Daniel Island, SC. She was
most recently honored by the Center for Music & Young Children in Princeton, for bringing
Music Together into the homes of more than 10,000 families in our community.
Lisa is an
accomplished vocalist who began performing in grade school. She attended
Talent Unlimited High School and continued her theatre and musical studies at
the New York Academy of Theatrical Arts, HB Studios and the American Musical
and Dramatic Academy. She was also a member of the band
"Blues In Progress" and has performed her solo cabaret and nightclub
acts in venues such as The Park Royal Hotel, Tramps, Caroline's, Kenny's
Castaways & The Bitter End. Lisa was also one of the founding members
of The Actors Annex East. She is now thrilled to be able to continue her musical journey by bringing Music Together to the wonderful families of South Carolina.

MELODY TEMPLETON, TEACHER
Melody Templeton has performed with distinction in various professional regional and dinner theater venues across the Midwest and Northeast United States. Accomplished in solo and ensemble performance, Melody is a specialist in voice production and vocal harmony. As music director and member of award-winning ensembles, Melody has qualified and competed both nationally and internationally in quartet and chorus competitions under the auspices of Sweet Adelines International, Inc.
Along with her husband, Director of Opera at the College of Charleston, Melody heads a very musical family, having introduced their children to music at a very early age. Her daughter carries on the family tradition as a recent graduate of Ohio State University with a B.M. in Music Education. A registered Music Together® instructor, Melody cites music education as a vital element in the development of her children. She is excited to bring the breadth of her experience and joy for music to another generation of children in the Mount Pleasant area.

DIANA FLAHERTY, TEACHER
Diana
Flaherty has appeared professionally in Musical Theater, Operetta and Opera.
During an acclaimed international career, Diana was most closely associated
with the heroines of Puccini and Verdi. She made important debuts with the Hong
Kong Opera, Romanian National Opera in Bucharest, Krakow Opera, and the Krakow
State Philharmonic of Poland. Diana has appeared throughout North America,
recorded a solo CD of opera arias with the Krakow State Philharmonic and was
featured on CBS’ Sunday Morning with
Charles Osgood.
Diana
discovered Music Together® through
the experiences of her own daughter--falling in love with the joyful music and
the unique bonding experience between parent and child. Diana is now a
registered Music Together® instructor
and is thrilled to be sharing her passion for music and this wonderful program
with the families of Hamlin Plantation and Daniel Island. Diana received her
B.M. in Vocal Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music.
